List of Minor Characters

Post by Sebastienne Pestiieno on Sun Mar 22, 2009 9:52 pm

This thread is for all those wonderful, amazing and sometimes evil, supporting characters

Bold The Character's Name

Underline the Character's rank/station
Here, write a brief description of the character, focusing mainly on their interaction with both our Heroes and our Villains. Be concise, don't try to write a novel, but be sure to cover all the facts. We'll temporarily suspend the double posting rule, as each character should (for now) have their own post

The Evil
Overlord

Ruler of the New Galactic Empire,
Soon to be
Ruler of All that Is.

The main antagonist of ESSSSOC, this
shadowy figure plagues our heroes in his continual attempts to
destroy any resistance to his goal of total domination of the
entirety of existence. He shrouds himself in mystery, but is
obviously a figure of great power, with entire star-systems at his
disposal to help him in his goals.

Captain Carl
Humperdink

AKA
THE MYSTERIOUS MAN IN THE BLACK
SUIT

Apparently high powered underling of the Evil
Overlord

This is a man that has tormented Sebastienne in
her past, and recently come to claim her once again. Much to his
dismay, Sebastienne declined his offer to let her join the Evil
Overlord's forces on her first scouting mission with the Highlander,
but she still spared his life.
He is commonly referred to as THE
MYSTERIOUS MAN IN THE BLACK SUIT which is actually what's on his name
plate in his office. Only those in the highest power, or who are
omniscient (such as narrators) know his real name, Carl Humperdink,
which has been a source of embarrassment for him for years. It is
rumored that he got so high in the Evil Overlords ranks by killing
all those who dare share the secret of his name.

Admiral
Bernard

Admiral

Bernard is a canid alien
resembling a huge, bipedal Terran St. Bernard. He is leader of the
rebellion against the forces of the Evil Overlord, called the
Federation of Free Worlds. He was first seen rescuing Our Hero in
ESSSSOC part I, from the clutches of an old adversary of his, Dr.
Homer, an apparent employee of the Evil Overlord, whom Bernard has
also tangled with in the past. Bernard apparently rose to his station
by killing his opponents, which may or may not have been said in
jest, or merely be a reference to his apparent high political office
before he defected against the Evil Overlord. Currently he directs
the operations of the FFW, as well as personally directing the group
of Heroes under the Highlander as a spearhead against the Evil
Overlord.

Suri
Warlock,
Favored of Tar'xax, Childhood friend of Azrael

Suri was a
Tiefling warlock raised side by side with Azrael. Initially as a
child, Suri shared the same views on injustice as Azrael, but when an
angry mob of villagers wiped out the Tiefling caravan leaving only
herself and Azrael alive, she took a different lesson from the
burning wreckage than Azrael. Thinking Azrael dead with everyone else
(and he thinking the same of her), she turned her back on the world
and created a new coven of infernal warlocks, notable as being an
actual new coven with a new pact instead of just a gathering of
hereditary warlocks. This coven also dabbled in the dark arts,
involving many ritual human sacrifices. It was this that brought the
coven to the attention of Azrael some thirty years after their
fateful parting. He searched out their hidden camp after getting
reports of missing villagers, and arrived just in time to see Suri
standing over the last living villager with a ritual blade, ready to
sacrifice him.

Azrael wiped out the entire coven of warlocks
that day, including Suri, whom he knew could not be saved. Yet
somehow the Evil Overlord summoned her from across the multiverse and
from beyond the veil of death to try and lure Azrael to his side. The
attempt backfired horribly, but there is no telling where Suri might
show up again.

The Closet
Sniper

Famed Assassin

The closet sniper is a
galactically renowned assassin, famed for his stealthy skills
(normally, he's found in closets) and powers of regeneration and
endurance (even if he appears killed, he always comes back). For
these reasons he has risen to the top of his class, and is highly
sought after by any respectable professional requiring an
assassination, if they can be his often exorbitant prices, but even
so has been known to sub-contract all but the most difficult jobs.
Recently he was employed by the Evil Overlord to take out Our Hero,
but failed in the matter, and was captured by Bernard before he had a
chance to carry out his later orders to disrupt the FFW elite
strike-force.

Our
Hero

Professional Hero Ordinaire
The original Hero
of ESSSSOC, after journeying long under the influence of the Evil
Overlord's Reality Warping powers, he eventually found himself in the
hospital of the Specrar company's Third Neptunian colony (Under the
control of The Evil Overlord), where Dr. Homer tried to subvert the
hero to the side of Evil. Because of the timely intervention of
Bernard, however, the hero manged to escape to the Capital Ship of
the FFW, where Bernard hired him to obtain what he called a "golden
ogre sternum" but what was actually one of the legendary Septars
of the Seven Moons, which were objects that provided near limitless
power to be harnessed by any who controlled them. After Our Hero was
beamed down to Earth, where the object was recently uncovered, he
manged to infiltrate a Russian Base built on the site, and found his
way to the ancient Norse tomb where the artifact had been buried. But
he found himself facing, instead of a golden ogre sternum, a whole
ogre, which began to savagely attack him. After a long and grueling
battle, the hero emerged victorious, although grievously wounded.
Bernard beamed down to the tomb, however, collecting the Septar, the
ogre's treasure horde, and Our Hero, whom he had promised a quiet
retirement in his home Time and Space. Presumably he is there now,
but he may or may not have been re-recruited by Bernard to fight
against the Evil Overlord.

General
Kharl

General of the Evil Overlord
One of the Evil
Overlord's top officers, and one of the few he personally trusts with
vital missions, Kharl is marked by the physical abnormality of his
extraordinarily sized cranium. This distinguished feature has granted
him an incredible cunning and intellect which, combined with his
natural inclination towards cruelty which brought him to the Evil
Overlord's side, quickly escalated him through the ranks to where he
stands today. He is known to have an honor guard of at least a dozen
Krön-gaulite warriors about him at all times, just like all of the
high officers in the Evil Overlords employ, and he was seen rescuing
Captain Carl Humperdink after a raid on his base by the Highlander
and Sebastienne. His enhanced braincase has also lead to an enhanced
ability to heal himself. As he escaped during the raid, Sebastienne
managed to tear off his lower jaw, a wound which healed in a matter
of a week.

Super
Soldier

Hand-to-hand combat specialist/expert
marksman/demolition expert

Raised at birth very much like the
Master Chief, the Super Soldier is an expert soldier. Besides that he
possesses a special suit capable of resisting some of the most
powerful impacts as well as possessing an energy shield capable of
absorbing solar energy and concentrating to over 20 times its own
power, effectively allowing him to survive even a direct hit from
even a nuclear bomb. If he were to be hit by one, however, his suit
would become critically damaged but it is also biomechanical allowing
it to "heal" itself fully in mere hours. It also possesses
the ability to purge his system of all harmful bacteria or any viral
infection. Not only that but he need never take it off for it
provides him with all the nourishment he could need.
His gun holds
the ability to replicate and store any energy source he's come into
contact with as well as a very advance computer hacking system and a
matter transmitter which allows him to convert certain energies into
more conventional ammo such as strait projectiles and explosives.
Most of this energy is stored in circular disks along his legs.

Julius Electus
Founder of the Solar Empire, currently the Evil Overlords head strategist and tactician

The clone of a greedy SOL politician (NOT an Übermensch), Julius is the founder and first Emperor of the Solar Empire (amendment: the Terran Empire that is previously stated on other post is the Solar Empire, if I have not gotten around to changing it on all the post forgive me). He served in all 3 Solar Wars and was the Chairman of STAR before its disbandment and assimilation into his Solar Empire. During SWIII, Julius started building the foundation for his new Empire but he needed an heir because Julius has shortened telomeres, which causes his internal organs to age rapidly (A unfortunate byproduct of him being a clone), and he finds the perfect person to lead his Empire: David Hadron. He teaches David his lessons of "Power and War" (a collection of lesson that are designed to prepare David for his new role) though because David is already unwillingly fighting for Julius, Julius must keep it a secret that he has picked David as his heir. During Julius's expansion of his empire, SOL refuses to merge into the SE and fights back, Julius reveals the Charge Positron Cannon (a Super Weapon with the power to destroy planets) and threatens to use it on Earth if SOL doesn't stop fighting. During the battle that ensues around the weapon, David Hadron (who is now the leader of the forces of the independent kingdom of Neptune) comes to stop both sides from destroying each other and duels Julius. After a tough and vergeful fight, David stabs Julius through the cockpit of his Wanzer, while the CPC begins to fire at earth and envelopes David and Julius.
Apparently the EO summoned Julius right before he died from the CPC shot and said that he would enslave the human race if he did not join his forces, which of course Julius agreed to, though since he believes the EO will enslave it no matter what he is actively seeking a way to end this war before it hits the Solar System. He is now the Supreme Strategist for all Evil forces throughout the Universe.
